Silver Lifestyle Retreat Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a retreat organised by Silver Lifestyle, Title Media Sussex Ltd (the Organiser), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not book a retreat with us.
2. Payment Terms
a. Full Payment Option: If you choose to make full payment at the time of booking, you will receive a 12% reduction in the total retreat cost.
b. Two-Part Payment Option: If you choose to pay in two parts, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the balance must be paid by the specified date. Failure to complete the second payment by the due date may result in the loss of your place, and it may be offered to another guest.
a. All payments for the retreat are non-refundable due to the limited size of the event and the advanced preparations required. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to personal emergencies, medical issues, or travel disruptions. However…
b. if you are unable to attend the retreat, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional cost. Please inform the Organiser of any participant substitution as soon as possible, and please ensure that your substitute is aware of these Terms and Conditions. No liability will be assumed for your guests if they do not read and adhere to these Terms.
4. Organiser’s Right to Cancel
In the unlikely event that the Organiser must cancel the retreat, all payments made for the retreat itself will be refunded to participants. However, please note that this refund does not cover any expenses incurred by participants, such as travel, accommodation, or other associated costs.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all participants have comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Silver Lifestyle (Title Media Sussex Ltd) is not responsible for any losses or expenses incurred by participants during the retreat.
6. Variations to Timings and Content
The Organiser reserves the right to make necessary variations to the retreat’s schedule and content due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond our control. We will always make every effort to ensure that any changes made are as close as possible to what is expected by the guests.
7. Guest Responsibilities
a. Guests are responsible for informing the Organiser of any allergies, medical conditions, or mobility issues that may affect their participation in the retreat.
b. Silver Lifestyle (Title Media Sussex Ltd) is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or medical issues that may arise during the retreat due to a guest’s failure to disclose relevant information or follow safety guidelines.
8. Lost or Transferred Places
If a guest fails to complete the second payment by the specified due date, their place may be forfeited and potentially offered to another guest. The Organiser will not be responsible for any consequences resulting from non-payment.
9. Behaviour and participation
a. All activities are optional and guests may choose not to participate in any or all of the activities offered, but there will be no reduction in the cost to the guest.
b. Participants are expected to follow the guidelines and instructions provided by Silver Lifestyle during the retreat. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in the participant being asked to leave the retreat, with no refund provided.
All retreats are different and accommodation varies from venue to venue. In most situations there is a supplement for a single traveller staying in double or twin accommodation. There are sometimes opportunities for those traveling solo to share twin rooms with other guests and we will endeavour to match people up if they’re happy with this. We accept no responsibility for guests not getting along! We will ensure that solo travellers sharing under these circumstances are able to communicate with each other before the event and reserve the right to share email addresses or phone numbers between only those parties, on this basis. We take every precaution and measure to ensure your safety and privacy are respected. We do not share any information without your prior approval.
